I used Scalp Med for a long time, but then I switched to Provillus about six months ago. Don’t get me wrong—I was satisfied with the results I was getting with Scalp Med. But one day I was talking to a friend of mine and he mentioned how pleased he was with Provillus.

Both Provillus and Scalp Med contain minoxidil, which has been scientifically proven to regrow hair. Minoxidil has even been approved by the US government. So I wasn’t surprised to hear that Provillus worked for my friend.

Scalp Med is Too Expensive

But Provillus costs much less than Scalp Med. Scalp Med costs around $350 for a six-month supply. Provillus costs around $200. That’s a huge difference! There was no way I could justify spending that much money anymore, especially in these difficult economic times.

So far, Provillus has been great. There’s been absolutely no additional hair loss and my hair is as strong and healthy as ever. The bottom line is: Provillus works just as well as Scalp Med, if not better, and it’s much cheaper.

If you’re interested in learning more about Provillus, you can visit their website here. I really think you’ll find that Provillus is a far greater value than Scalp Med.

Scalp Med—does it work? Any hair loss treatment that contains minoxidil will work to some degree, and for most people. That’s because minoxidil has been clinically proven to stop hair loss. According to Wikipedia, minoxidil is “known for its ability to slow or stop hair loss and promote hair regrowth.”

OK, so why not just use minoxidil as a hair loss treatment? One of the problems is that minoxidil side effects are dandruff and an incredibly itchy scalp. The makers of Scalp Med wanted to create a new hair loss treatment that stopped hair loss and grew hair without itchiness and dandruff. They did this by making sure Scalp Med properly moisturizes the scalp as it works.

What Do You Get When You Buy Scalp Med?

Scalp Med contains many more ingredients than just minoxidil. When you buy it you get three different things:

Vitadil 5A: This is the part that contains the minoxidil.

Nutrisol-RM: This contains essential amino acids, minerals, herbs and nutrients that help to penetrate the hair follicle. It’s essentially an herbal hair loss treatment, which works wonderfully well combined with Minoxidil.

Cortex Enlarger: This is a special thickening hair spray that adds body and fullness to thin hair.

The fact is, stopping hair loss and growing new hair isn’t that hard. But it’s the quality of the hair that counts. Thin, wispy strands of new hair aren’t going to do you much good. Scalp Med provides your new hair with lots of vitamins and minerals to make sure it grows in thick, clean, and healthy.

Think of your hair as a lawn. You can’t grow a thick, luxurious lawn just by throwing a few seeds on the ground. The grass that comes up has to be cultivated, fertilized, and fed with the proper nutrients. It’s the same for your hair. Using minoxidil alone is like throwing a few seeds on the ground. Using Scalp Med is like using Lawn Doctor. So if you want a thick, healthy head of grass, I mean hair, try Scalp Med!

Let’s take a look at Scalp Med side effects vs. Propecia side effects.
Propecia is a very popular hair loss treatment for men. It’s basically finasteride, which is a potent drug that regrows hair.
Let’s take a look at Scalp Med side effects vs. Propecia side effects.

Propecia is a very popular hair loss treatment for men. It’s basically finasteride, which is a potent drug that regrows hair. You can’t buy this product over the counter—you need a prescription. As with many potent drugs, there are side effects associated with it. Some of them are pretty scary.

First of all, you can’t use Propecia around women who are or may become pregnant. It can cause birth defects in an unborn baby. It also shouldn’t be taken if you’re around a woman who is breastfeeding, since it may pass into the breast milk. Scalp Med is perfectly safe to use around women. In fact, there’s a whole line of Scalp Med made just for women who are experiencing hair loss.

According to Wikipedia, finasteride (the chemical name for Propecia) “has been linked to depression . . . and is under investigation by the Swedish Medical Products Agency for possibly causing irreversible sexual side effects.”

That’s right—irreversible! There’s a whole online forum for men who have suffered irreversible side effects from taking Propecia. Here’s a sampling of what you’ll find on this message board.

“Nothing, absolutely nothing worked to return me to the level of sexual satisfaction I had before finasteride.”

“I am new here and was a long term user of Propecia and cannot believe the side effects from this evil drug. I am sorry, hair is not worth all this.”

“The choice is yours, to risk losing your manhood, or not risk it at all. There are many on here that could care less about hair loss now that finasteride has ruined their lives.”

Scalp Med is Perfectly Safe

Pretty sobering stuff. But you don’t have to worry about sexual side effects with a hair loss product like Scalp Med. It doesn’t affect the hormones. There are no side effects—it’s perfectly safe to use. That’s a big reason why a lot of men choose a minoxidil-based product like Scalp Med.

When using a minoxidil-based hair loss product like Scalp Med, there are some things you should remember.

Even the very best hair loss products don’t always work for everyone. We all have different bodies and biological makeups. Scalp Med should stop your hair loss and regrow your hair, but there’s a small chance it might not. That’s why you can try it out for 60 days and then return the empty bottles for a full refund if you’re not satisfied.

As is the case with all hair loss products, you have to keep on using Scalp Med. If you stop, hair loss will probably begin again.

Start Using Scalp Med When You First Notice Hair Falling Out

Don’t wait till you’re practically bald. Once a hair follicle has been dormant for a long period of time, no product, not even Scalp Med, can bring it back to life.

It’s very important to use a good shampoo that cleans your hair without stripping it of vital healthy oils and nutrients. Scalp Med makes a shampoo that’s part of its Detoxifying Cleanser Kit.

If you remember these simple things, you should have a lot of success with Scalp Med.
